MVP privacy notice
Collect only what recruiting follow-up needs.
This draft explains the intended data practices for the validation MVP. It requires legal review before a commercial production launch.
Information collected
Volunteer interest forms collect basic contact information, ZIP code, age confirmation, areas of interest, relevant experience, contact preference, referral source and optional comments. Campaign parameters may be recorded with the submission.
How information is used
Applicant information is used to route and track volunteer recruitment follow-up for the department identified on the form and to produce recruitment-source reporting.
Who can access it
Applicant information is not public. Production access is intended for authorized users assigned to that department and limited platform administrators who need access to operate or support the service.
Retention and requests
A production retention period, deletion process and contact for privacy requests must be approved before launch. Departments should avoid entering sensitive screening, medical or background-check information in applicant notes.
Security and legal review
The production architecture uses server-enforced organization access and row-level database policies. No website can promise absolute security. Counsel should review this notice, processor agreements, breach procedures and state-specific requirements before accepting real applicant data.
Draft status: not legal advice and not a claim of compliance with every privacy law.
