These terms describe the responsibilities that come with using StationReach.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using StationReach, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a fire department or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization.

The service

StationReach provides department recruiting pages, prospective-member interest capture, recruitment workflow tools, campaign-source information, and related resources. Features may change as the service develops.

Department and user responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping account access secure, providing accurate department information, responding appropriately to prospective volunteers, following your department's policies, and complying with applicable employment, volunteer, accessibility, privacy, public-records, and nondiscrimination requirements.

Acceptable use

You may not use StationReach unlawfully; submit deceptive, harmful, infringing, or discriminatory content; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with the service; collect information for unrelated purposes; or upload highly sensitive screening, medical, financial, or identity information unless StationReach expressly supports that use.

Department-provided content

Departments remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, and permissions associated with their names, logos, photographs, requirements, claims, and other submitted content. You grant StationReach permission to host and display that content as needed to provide the service.

Recruitment outcomes

StationReach helps departments create and manage a recruitment funnel, but it does not guarantee applicant volume, applicant quality, department membership, retention, staffing levels, or any particular recruitment result.

Grants and funding information

Grant listings and funding resources are provided for general informational purposes. StationReach does not determine eligibility, write or submit grant applications, promise funding, or guarantee that any program will pay for StationReach. Users must verify requirements with the official program administrator.

Third-party services and links

The service may link to or rely on third-party services. StationReach does not control third-party content, availability, security, or policies, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Intellectual property

StationReach and its original software, design, branding, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership. Third-party names and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary and will seek to avoid unnecessary disruption.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, StationReach is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We disclaim implied warranties that cannot be supported for an early-stage online service, while preserving any rights that cannot legally be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, StationReach will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, opportunities, revenue, or recruitment outcomes arising from use of the service. Any direct liability will be limited to amounts paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. Access may be suspended or terminated for material breach, unlawful use, security risk, nonpayment where applicable, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will lie in a court of competent jurisdiction in Texas, subject to any mandatory law that applies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as StationReach develops. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
